Alliance Française – Lansing is a nonprofit organization authorized under the auspices of La Fondation Alliance Française, headquartered in Paris. Any person, regardless of race, religion, national or ethnic origin may become a member by paying annual dues. The membership year begins on January 1 of each year. Dues must be paid by March 1 of each year to be a member in good standing. New memberships received from October 1 to the end of the year are valid for the current year and the year following.
There are four categories of membership:
- Individual $20 One person
- Family $35 Members of a household
- Student $10 Currently enrolled
- Sponsor $50 Individual, Family or Student member
at higher level of support
