Practice your French at AF-Lansing’s monthly events. For example, our bi-monthly soirees allow members and their guests to meet, share a dish, a bottle of wine and enjoy a bit of French culture and language. Some soirees are social events, while others center on French holidays such as la Fête des Rois in January, la Chandeleur in February, la Fête de la Musique in June, Bastille Day in July, and so on. Tables are arranged for those who want to speak French (or listen) and those who prefer English. Other events have included presentations on photography, dance, and wines of France; French film festivals and trivia nights.
